What you’ll be doing: 

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers. Understanding each customer's unique needs and requirements

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.

  • Develop and implement retention strategies to make sure we provide the best customer experience

  • Assist customers with billing inquiries, payment arrangements, and dispute resolution

  • Provide information and guidance to customers on energy-efficient practices and sustainability initiatives

  • Preparing and presenting business and account updates to the company’s management

  • Following up with customers to ensure they are satisfied with the our services

  • Contributing information to sales and marketing strategies by assessing current product results, monitoring competitive products, assessing needs to be filled and analysing customer reaction.

  • Onboarding new customers through our system from start to finish following our customer journey policies and procedures 

What we’re looking for: 

  • Knowledge and/or experience of the Energy sector is not essential but an interest and eagerness in sustainable energy is important 

  • Experience of building relationships with customers and balancing priorities

  • Someone who takes satisfaction from a great customer experience, with the ability to take on feedback and look for improvements 

  • A real collaborator, keen to support colleagues and be agile in a fast paced, scaling business 

  • You’ll be keen to be creative and innovative, driving new and fresh ideas about customer campaigns and other company initiatives - diversity of thought is really important to us

The role is office based (5 days a week in Union [Manchester City Centre]) so you’ll enjoy working with people, collaborating with colleagues up to Director level on a day to day basis.
