Our plan to Invest In Our Planet

A green future is the only possible future

We are standing on the verge of a crisis that can no longer be ignored, NOW is the moment that we need to take bold action towards climate change, personally, professionally, and politically.

It is time we consider investing not just in our health, families, and career but also in our planet.

We don't have long; businesses, governments, and people need to take bold and decisive action, together, to address this global crisis and move towards a more sustainable future. Unless immediate action is taken, the climate crisis will severely damage economies including supply chain challenges, straining profits, and fewer job prospects, impacting every one of us.

This year we celebrate Earth Day with the theme, “Invest In Our Planet”.

The private sector is leading-edge in the race to become more sustainable. A recent Harvard Business Review study suggests that Companies adopting a robust approach to Environmental and Social Governance experience better profitability, stronger financials, happier employees, and better stock performance.

Companies with long-term goals and vision have understood that those who are going green are more likely to achieve enduring profits as sustainability is the path to prosperity. It is now critical for business leaders and companies to take active steps in adopting and imbibing a more sustainable system for humanitarian and economic reasons.

How does Unify Energy #InvestInOurPlanet?

Unify Energy is disrupting the business energy market by helping both landlords and occupiers engage with energy differently. For the first time, you can rely on a single regulated energy supplier to supply energy to your main building meter and distribute that energy to occupiers, invoice their consumption separately, and provide invaluable energy data to support the reduction in energy consumption.

The government has also come up with provisions for scaling up the production of hydrogen, solar, and wind power, which could see up to 95 percent of the UK’s electricity supply originate from low-carbon sources by the year 2030 to make the UK’s reliance on heavy energy imports.

The strategy aims to generate 50 gigawatts of electricity through offshore wind, which ministers claim to be more than enough energy to power every home in the UK.

In partnership with Ripple, Unify energy is helping to make sustainable energy usage more accessible through wind farms which will allow businesses and individuals to protect themselves in the future from energy price spikes and give people an opportunity to make a legitimate investment in a sustainable energy resource. This asset will stabilise bills in the long-term and also contribute to a Greener world.

This is just one of many initiatives we are investing in to achieve our mission to be as green as possible. As we grow and refine our Green proposition we want to take our customers on that journey with us and invest in our planet.
