What will you be doing:
Work closely with the Industry and Trade Manager to produce energy pricing for customers
Develop and maintain pricing models that consider cost structures, demand elasticity, and market dynamics.
Monitor and adjust pricing strategies based on the results of ongoing analysis.
Analyse market trends, customer behaviour, and competitive landscape to make informed pricing decisions.
Segment customers and products to tailor pricing strategies for different market segments
Conduct pricing analysis to evaluate the impact of price changes on revenue, profitability, and market share
Identify opportunities to optimise pricing for various products and customers
Negotiate and manage pricing contracts with key customers
Monitor contract compliance and resolve pricing queries as needed
Prepare regular reports and presentations for management to communicate pricing insights and recommendations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, finance, and product development, to align pricing with overall business objectives
What we’re looking for:
You’ll have a mathematically focused approach, great with numbers and analytical thinking - looking at trends and efficiencies
With the above in mind, it’d be highly beneficial if you’ve studied a mathematical/economics-related degree or worked in an analytical role previously
Experience in an analytical/administrative role that is driven by data analysis, spotting trends, and collaborating with teams will be highly beneficial
An inquisitive mindset - keen to learn the complexities of a growing industry, supporting colleagues and pulling together to drive business growth
An interest in sustainability - specifically, sustainable energy
