Job purpose:
Provide administrative support to both the trading and sales teams. You’ll work closely with a variety of stakeholders, giving you a varied workload and exposure to a variety of business areas.
What we’re looking for:
Ultimately, we want someone who is inquisitive - keen to learn and embrace new challenges. The role will be very varied so you’ll be comfortable switching between a variety of tasks and balancing multiple priorities. With a disposition for embracing constructive feedback to improve.
The role is predominantly office-based (4 days a week in Union [Manchester City Centre]), so you’ll enjoy working with people, collaborating with colleagues up to Director level on a day to day basis.
Ideally, you’ll be comfortable working with Excel - the ability to do Pivot tables, VLookups and some formulas will be advantageous. Previous experience in an administrative role isn’t essential, but a willingness to learn and a drive to grow is.
What you’ll be doing:
Checking and validating trade confirmations for both electricity and gas
Checking trade matching in a live environment
Supporting with renewable certificate transactions
Triaging incoming pricing requests in a timely manner
Producing contracts for the sales and account management teams
Monitoring new contracts that are onboarded
Analyse sales data and produce sales reports
Contributing to projects that will develop new processes for the trading and sales teams
